Abstract

The purposes of this research were to develop and determine quality of the computer aid instruction on data structure and algorithm, to determine its efficiency and to compare the learning achievement between pre-and post-study using this computer aid instruction. The sample of 15 students used in the study was obtained from the engineering education and industrial education faculties at the King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, Thailand, who were enrolled in data structure and algorithm classes. Specific sampling was used as well as tools used in computer aid instruction on data structure and algorithm, quality valuation form in media technique and content aspects by academic people and pretest and posttest learning achievement forms. Statistics used in this research were mean and standard deviation. The hypotheses were tested using related sample t-test. From the results, it was determined that the quality of this computer aid instruction in content aspect was in very good level as indicated by ( x = 4.82, S.D. = 0.20 )    and    in    media    aspect    was    also    in    very    good         level ( x = 4.71, S.D. = 0.26 ).  For the  efficiency  determination,  it   was  equal   to   80.80/82.62. Furthermore, for learning achievement, posttest was significantly higher than pretest (p> 0.05 ). . All results were per the hypotheses.
